IYENGAR YOGA PER LO SPORT : 4 VIDEO sul BACKBENDER

(EFFORTLESS EFFORT ) .
Iyengar ha sviluppato la panca del backbend per ottimizzare la pratica di piegamenti all’indietro o di pose che coinvolgono l’estensione spinale (inarcando la colonna vertebrale all’indietro).4 video clips su YOU TUBE canale Tite Togni

Yoga brings a SOUL to the Sport and the Sport in Yoga brings a FUNCTIONAL BODY .
In his lifetime BKS Iyengar was widely regarded as the foremost contemporary teacher of yoga asana (posture). His technique emphasises precise alignment and deep absorption in each pose. From the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute in Puna, India, Iyengar’s inspirational teaching spawned hundreds of Yoga schools around the world. Fundamental to his approach was the notion of practicing each pose in a way which is appropriate to the experience and fitness of the practitioner. For that purpose he developed and systematised the use of a number of yoga props.Props assist the practice of those unable to achieve the deepest version of a pose. Props also enable practitioners to stay in a pose for a longer time than would otherwise be possible, especially during a ‘restorative’ practice. Mr Iyengar developed the backbend bench to assist with the practice of back bends or poses involving spinal extension (arching the spine backwards).4 video clips on you tube channel Tite Togni:1.Supported Viparita Dandasana (Backbend)2.
